Our credentials—including WBE and SWAM certification, LEED accreditation, and Green Globe certification—underscore a practice grounded in sustainability, regulatory fluency, and professional accountability, providing clients with confidence in both process and outcome. Currently, DDR-chitecture is licensed to provide services in Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, and the District of Columbia.

Who We Are

Donna Rosano brings more than 25 years of architectural experience to her role as President of DDR-chitecture. She earned her Bachelor of Architecture from Virginia Tech, and has spent the majority of her career practicing throughout the Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia region.

Donna has worked with a number of respected firms, contributing to a wide range of project types and scales. Her experience spans the full architectural process, from early planning and design through construction, giving her a practical, well-rounded perspective on how projects evolve from concept to reality. A deep familiarity with regional codes, regulatory processes, and stakeholder expectations allows her to guide projects with clarity and confidence.

Donna is known for her thoughtful, hands-on approach and her ability to listen closely to both clients and communities. She views architecture as a collaborative and civic-minded practice, one that balances design ambition with responsibility to budget, schedule, sustainability, and long-term use. Under her leadership, DDR-chitecture emphasizes well-considered solutions, clear communication, and architecture that serves people and place with care.
